The Poetry Group meets every two weeks in member’s homes for two hours or so to read poetry following a pre-chosen theme. The group has been running since 10th February 2021, following a Burns night of poetry, via zoom.
We try to meet fortnightly but this doesn't always work due to each other's commitments but we also try for other days if a Wednesday doesn't work.
The group consists of novices, such as myself, some very knowledgeable members and ones who write their own poetry plus published poets.
We also have the Fenland Poet Laureate 2024 visit us occasionally.
All are welcome who have an interest in poetry.
