The group's main activity is watching and discussing recordings of the Gilbert and Sullivan operas, including the less well-known ones. Where possible sub-titles are included and a short synopsis of each opera is provided before it is shown. The group also plans to explore other light and comedy operas. All are welcome and no previous knowledge of Gilbert and Sullivan operas is needed. We aim to show all or part of an opera or related topic at each meeting. Part operas will be completed the following month.
